It is optimised for 1024x768 display.

Browsing

This website implements a number of functionalities that facilitate browsing.

Location of browsing features is constant throughout the website, to ensure optimal ergonomy :

  • The Ariadne’s thread enabling internauts to position themselves on the site and return to upper levels with a single click.
  • The logo is clickable on all website pages, returning users direct to the homepage.
  • The level 1 menus, under the graphic strip, are permanently accessible
  • In the left-hand column of all website are :
    The level 2 and 3 menus corresponding to the main subsite selected;
    A “Your project” menu leading to the website’s internal pages
    Menus at the top and bottom of the page enabling quick access to all subsites.
    A “Top of page” button enabling quick return to the top of the page.
  • The site plan is accessible from the link on the bottom of the page throughout the site.
  • A search engine at the top of the page enables rapid search by ordering results by relevance.

Keyboard browsing

The entire site may be consulted using the keyboard. You can go through a page in its logical reading order, from link to link, by using the “tab” key on your keyboard.

Keyboard shortcuts enable access to certain website pages :

  • Use the Alt + Shift + [accesskey] key combination, for Firefox.
  • Use the Alt + [accesskey] key combination then enter, for Internet Explorer.

Texts

The site’s contents exist separately from their formatting and may therefore be displayed in a variety of ways (i.e. in other style sheets). They may also be displayed without graphic presentation

Contents are written in clear and simple language, in logical and well-ordered fashion.

Site pages are structured using identical formatting for each feature (for example, underlining is reserved for hypertext links; use of h1, h2, h3 headings to hierarchise levels of information).

You can increase or reduce character size in your browser’s menu (Show > Text size) or by using your mouse (Ctrl key + thumb wheel).

Images

All images and pictograms have a clearly captioned alt attribute to ensure full understanding.
